Koala Gems Stall, for what it lacked in size it made up for in Quality Gem Rough, as you can see the weather was perfect on the first day. For our first Gem Show we had a lot of positive comments and compliments on the Gem Rough. A special Thank you to Anthony and his lovely wife (my gem rough supplier) for coming all the way from Africa to help me at Gemfest, a very big THANK YOU!!!! |

Wow!! What a cute pair of pins you have there. This was Koala Gems neighbours. They sold a very large variety of Gemstones, minerals, fossils, crystals and so much more. They were great company and we hope to attend some more Gem shows with this incredible pair. And yes the Elephant is enjoying his new home ;o) |

A fun time was had by all at Gemfest. It was a great turnout with lots of interesting things to do and see, from an unbelievable stunt flyer (not the radio controlled type either, the real McCoy), there were 3 interesting looking camels transporting the brave around the grounds, also a wayward Police officer by the name of Police Constable Robert who seemed to be up to more mischief then you can poke a stick at. The Anakie School run a BBQ stand and the food there was delicious. There was a coffee stand that helped me defrost on the second day of Gemfest (thank you girls). The entertainment on the stage was great also, I didn't see it but I sure heard it and it sounded great. |
